1 payment of interest following refinance not included in 1098, can I include in my int mortgage deduction?

I refinanced my home Home in 2007 (only PRINCIPLE / no cash back / no debt consolidation, etc..) 1098 My-holder's original ticket did not include all interests Mortgage paid – only until the date of payment. The 1098 does not include interest accrued since the date of payment has been freed and actual gain was achieved. This is the result of mortgage interest paid in arrears. My account statement with the original Note holders identifies this activity. I paid all the interest, but for some reason it has not been included in 1098. The lender has not been helpful. The owner of the new note (or seller) pay no interest if it is not the case. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The interest to the date of payment on the old mortgage is all you actually paid. It would included on that 1098. If you think the 1098 is in error, contact the lender and see if you can convince them that it is a mistake and issue a corrected 1098. I'm not sure what you mean by "or seller" because it is a re-fi. There is no seller!
